This Wool Blend Tweed Cropped Jacket from Brooks Brothers is definitely a splurge item. But the quality in craftsmanship, material, and the timelessness of the style make it an investment piece. This jacket is not sold in petite, so the crop hits me a little lower than intended, but the sleeve length and shoulders fit perfectly, I am wearing size 0.

You look beautiful! I love, love the Tweed BB jacket. That is an outstanding piece. Very tempting to me. I have really mixed feelings about faux leather. I’ve purchased Michael Kors faux leather. It looked and felt beautiful and nearly authentic but its sustainability, in my experience, was limited. Hopefully others have better outcomes!
Hi Carolina Girl, That is true about faux leather; you have to be careful with its care. I hardly ever wash the pieces I have. Whenever I do, it’s a hand-wash, lay flat-to-dry situation. Mostly, I wipe the exterior clean with a wet towel between washings. And as much as possible, I avoid ironing (on low with a towel between the iron and the fabric). So far, I have had good luck with faux leather – my oldest pieces have so far lasted years. Thanks for stopping by today! xo Kelly
