dynamic duo

you might have heard that brown and black don’t mix. but this is one fashion rule that’s meant to be broken. in my opinion, there are several color combinations that reach rock star status. brown and black happen to be one of them. for today’s ootd i decided to beat the heat with a pair of black bermuda shorts. instead of playing it safe with a white top i kept the look in the neutral zone with brown accessories. if shorts aren’t your thing then trade them in for a slim fitting skirt or slacks. sandals are another way to help me stay cool. this pair has the perfect heel height that will have me traversing the hills of san francisco in style. a fun belt, a few pieces of jewelry, and this outfit is casual chic. now, i’m out the door, ready to face monday.
