A few easy swaps are all it takes to change the look and feel of your home to reflect the season. Each September, I swap throw pillow covers from summery colors to fall colors; and exchange summery faux foliage for autumnal choices. Even swapping out, or bringing in a few decorative items will help transform your home into a cozy space for relaxing into fall.
The simplest way to give your living area a fall facelift is with throw pillows. If you already have pillow inserts, swapping covers is affordable and easy. Mix and match patterns, colors, and textures for a cozy feel. You don’t have to full-on Great Pumpkin to achieve a fall look. Look for fall colors like rusty oranges and muted greens; and patterns like buffalo check and plaid to set a relaxed mood and create a subtle ambiance.
