First Look at Talbots’ Spring Collection

Happy Thursday, ladies!  Although Spring isn’t quite here yet, don’t tell our favorite retailers.  From Talbots to Ann Taylor and more, everyone has or is currently rolling out their (pre-)spring collections.  So today, I thought I’d take a first look at Talbots’ spring collection.

So far, I’m liking what I’m seeing. Pantone’s color of the year is viva megenta and that’s definitely reflected in Talbots’ spring line.  From muted pinks & reds to blues and greens, this Spring is all about color and bold patterns. 

Talbots is featuring a lot of floral prints and paisley, bold stripes, and interesting details.  Standouts to me include their blouses & shirts, as well as their sweaters. It’s going to be a lot of fun figuring out ways to introduce some of 2023’s trends into a classic wardrobe. 

I tried my hand at just that today by seeing if I could construct some of my favorite past spring looks just using Talbots’ new spring arrivals.  So, let’s see what I came up with.
