Nordstrom has lost their luster. Horrible customer service now and selections lacking. I had a gift certificate for two years and had to work to find something I cared enough about to buy.
In my area it’s sparse. Racks are spread so far apart throughout the store. Makes shopping difficult. I’m glad you’re still finding what you like.
Nordstrom’s really stocks up for the Anniversary Sale. But if you shift to shopping online instead of the store you will be amazed at the selections.

I’m curious as to which Nordstrom you’re shopping and/or if you shop Nordstrom online? I mostly shop online and they haven’t lost any luster. Still the same free shipping, Nordy Notes and a vast selection of brands.
Your post brings back fond memories of when my daughter and I used to take a day trip into NYC from eastern Long Island on the Hampton Jitney to shop at Bloomingdale’s and do lunch. Thanks, Beth! Will be watching…Our Nordstrom in South Park Mall, Charlotte, N.C., hasn’t lost its luster. I prefer to try on and visit in person, whenever possible. I want to support brick and mortars of my favorite retailers (Talbots, etc.) and small shops in my town of Davidson, N.C. Otherwise, we’ll be stuck in an online shopping world of only Amazon or Walmart.com. UGH.
I love Nordstrom, but I’m having a hard time with all the low quality fabrics, and faux leather clothes and shoes. I would buy more if there were more natural fabrics options.
The petite section is gone, and the oversized items are too prevalent. It’s a shame. I hope they can rectify this in the future.
