gingham has been on trend this season seen in dozens of ways. my favorite is a tried-and-true staple that’s in my closet in several colors – the gingham blouse. versatile and classic, this little number gets plenty of mileage year round from me. today, i’m wearing it with a pencil skirt and ballet flats. there couldn’t be a more classic look that stands the test of time. i’ve tied a cardigan around my neck (more for warmth than anything else) but i paid close attention to the overall color scheme, matching my brown cardi to my shoes and belt. brown and blue are a great color combo borrowed directly from menswear. my brown leather tote brings the outfit seamlessly together to complete my ootd that is perfect for a nine-to-five look in the office, or for a change of pace from chinos or jeans.
