In honor of St. Patrick’s Day (I’m half Irish the other half German) I thought I would round up a few FWO posts where I’m wearing green. ‘Cuz guess who forgot to wear green for St. Patrick's Day on the post that, well, was supposed to run on St. Patrick's Day?
That is close to sacrilege in my clan which closely identifies with their Irish heritage. It was fun going through the archives as I watched the evolution of my screen porch from the early days after Mr. Style and I moved to Athens to its recent makeover. And stay tuned as I purchased a new rug this year. I’m waiting for the pine pollen to dissipate before I add that to the porch decor.
Many of you know I have a mini-renovation with new hardwood floors in the living room and entryway. Yesterday, they installed the leopard carpet on the stairway that leads to the basement. I LOVE it!
Now, I’m waiting on the painter to paint the walls French Beret a mix of navy and black. He’s also on deck to paint the living room after the floors are installed. Can’t wait! Spring has sprung and I’m here for it. Warm weather, spring cleaning, and a home project or two truly revitalize my soul.

My top 10 graphic tees for Spring 2022 are at the end of the post, so don't miss them!
I whipped up a gluten-free Raspberry Chocolate Truffle. It’s a great way to incorporate fresh raspberries that are in abundance this time of year. This is a very easy recipe that takes about ten minutes to make.
Light and airy is the name of the game for this OOTD. The flattering drape of this tank is a dream! A double-layered bias cut gives it movement and flow. Linen cropped pants in army green are the perfect complement to the light and airy gingham pattern of my top.
Who doesn't love an easy peasy recipe on hand – tuna potato salad that’s perfect for a spring dinner along with a refreshing cocktail by the name of Italian Greyhound?
My outfit is comprised of a lightweight sweater in a gorgeous shade of lavender paired with green chinos.
And if you hadn’t heard, green pants act as a neutral. there’s at least one pair of green joggers and one pair of green chinos hanging in my closet as they go with everything.
A refreshing springlike cocktail sounded good. Aperol immediately came to mind so i flipped through the pages of The New Cocktail Hour and found Intro to Aperol. I’m not necessarily a gin drinker but the addition of Aperol and the bitters make a mighty fine cocktail. go ahead, try it. I think you will like it.
This outfit is easy and comfortable. This mock-neck sweater is a cotton blend and has a slight waffle pattern. I love the button detail at the shoulder. The dark olive color is so perfect for fall.
