no matter what length my hair is or what style, i do my best to keep my silver locks in tip-top shape. that’s where Hair Biology steps in. for the past several months, i’ve had the privilege to test products from the Silver & Glowing Collection, Soft & Hydrated Collection, and their Full & Vibrant Collection with positive results. what i love best about this brand is on a mission to celebrate aging and to help our hair look and feel its very best – changes and all. so let’s talk about hair products, hairstyles, and how i keep my hair tamed with Hair Biology.
through the years, my hair has been through lots of changes. it’s been cut over a thousand times. before i let my silver locks shine through, i regularly had my hair highlighted. let’s not even count how many shampoos my scalp has seen what with sweaty workouts and general maintenance.
once or twice a week, i use Purple Shampoo and Conditioner from Hair Biology. silver/grey hair can turn brassy if it’s overexposed to sunlight or using hot tools on our hair. blow dryers, straighteners, and curling irons being the main culprits. for years i’ve added a purple shampoo into my hair care regimen, but you might find it interesting to know that purple conditioners are few and far between. so i can’t tell you how relieved i was when i learned Hair Biology made a purple shampoo and purple conditioner in their Silver & Glowing line. i love how the two products gave me a one-two punch that not only rid my hair of any yellow tones but leaves my hair feeling hydrated and shiny. and if by chance you’re coloring your hair blonde, this will work for you too!
for those of you who struggle with thinning hair, there’s a wonderful new product called Thickening Treatment from Hair Biology designed to give you fuller-looking hair. and who doesn’t want that at any age? shop all the products at Target.
the Full & Vibrant collection available exclusively at Target includes a shampoo, conditioner, and thickening treatment that together weightlessly cleanses, nourishes, instantly thickens, and fights breakage. the thickening treatment benefits are progressive: the more you use it, the thicker your hair. now that’s a win/win for many of us that notice our hair thinning each year.
once a week, i indulge in a Deep Hydration Mask from Hair Biology that brings back shine and moisture to dull, dry, or brittle hair. beautiful hair doesn’t stop just because we’re growing older. the Deep Hydration Mask available exclusively at Target is part of the Soft & Hydrated Collection designed to add deep moisture to aging and changing hair.
the Argan Oil Taming Serum keeps my hair smooth and shiny. it’s a must-have for healthy hair. shop all the products at Target.
Soft & Hydrated Collection brings back strong, healthy hair. it’s designed to add deep moisture to aging and changing hair. ‘cuz our hair is growing older along with us, and we need hair care products that understand those changes. the Soft &Hydrated Collection is a-ma-zing, including the multi-tasking hair spray.
don’t forget Hair Biology is exclusively available at Target online and in stores nationwide! besides the Silver & Glowing Collection, they offer Hair Biology Soft & Hydrated Shampoo and Conditioner for coarse hair and Hair Biology Full & Vibrant Shampoo and Conditioner for thinning hair. what are you waiting for? we’re getting bolder, not older, and Hair Biology quite agrees. click here to shop now..

I really enjoy reading you, and I can attest the hair biology products are a must for us silver ladies.
Thanks so much for the information on hair biology. Will be my next hair purchase.
Thank you so much for Style. Not only does it have a positive message for those of us who are older, but it’s fun. It’s gives me a certain joie de vivre.
I have been using BP for a while and I like how it makes my hair feel. I am a blond going gray and thought it would make my hair look more gray if I used the shampoo and conditioner for gray hair. I did not notice a difference in color, but gosh, my hair feels wonderful! I think it is very affordable, too.
I started using Hair Biology from Target after your first post. At first I thought it was expensive, but each product lasts a long time. I don’t typically shop Target, so wouldn’t have found this product without your blog. Thanks!
Thanks so much for all the great views of your hairstyle. Back in August when you first debuted the “new look” I took photos of it into my hairdresser and said, “That’s what I want! I know I have a ways to go, but……a goal is set!” I was currently at a very Dame Judy Dench look that was less than flattering. Luckily for me my hair grows astonishingly fast and I’m able to have it look very close to your style. It helped the stylist to see it in all different views the first time and since then I can show him the updated ways its behaving.
Thanks for helping me look my best!
When I was young, I’d see the older women slathering Mayo on their hair, covering it with a shower cap for a few hours. I guess it worked. They had nice hair but it was messy and you smelled like a salad. We are blessed that products like these are available and cheap. Your hair looks so healthy and shiny.
I love the orange/lavender sweater. Where did you buy it, pleease?
All set to order online from Target as there are no stores nearby my home. However, shipping was not available, so am very disappointed.
Here is a correction to my earlier comment. Shipping is available and I am happy to say I have been using the products Beth recommends for silver hair and am very satisfied.
Thank you Beth !
I would love to try a purple shampoo with my new silver hair..however, I’m concerned about a purple tint, which I have seen and don’t want. Is there a way to avoid that?
only use purple shampoo once or twice a week. that way you shouldn’t get a purple tint.
You are one of the lucky ones who has great hair as well as a great shaped head. Definitely have envy. From someone with fine thin hair and a flat head.!
