today’s post is short and sweet as i’ve pulled a few of my favorite winter ootd’s from the archives. cause baby it’s cold outside!
this is a cashmere cape i made from fabric my sister-in-law gave me years ago. but capes and ponchos are all the rage this year. similar ones can be found here and here. a good pair of boots last for years. this pair from JCrew is several years old but are still going strong. similar ones can be found here and here.

faux fur vests keep you warm. here, i’ve doubled it as a lining to my coat. riding pants, and over the knee boots are just the sort of casual look i favor.

Great outfits! You are rockin’ the over the knee boots…wow! Glad to see Dad’s fur vest make another appearance. Love the detailing on the purple velvet blazer. The cape is fabulous…love it…
i don’t know how i missed several of your comments, but i did! my apologies. the cape is one of my favorites as the fabric was given to me by my late sister-in-law. every time i put it on i think of her. just like my fur vest that was my dad’s.
