a very happy thanksgiving from my house to yours! all the fixings are in the works in my kitchen, cranberry sauce, stuffing, brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, and of course the turkey. and so it begins. the holidays. the next six weeks truly are the most wonderful time of year. and i have a BIG surprise to share with you just in time for the holiday rush.
as you can see the turkey plates are in hand and the thanksgiving table is about to come to life. two out of three kiddos are feasting with mr. style and me so it’s a good day indeed.
today’s ootd starts with velvet trim bi-stretch pants perfect for party season. it has a matching blazer but since we’re staying home for thanksgiving i chose to dress the pants down with a cozy cashmere sweater and houndstooth cardigan.

It is absolutely freezing here in NYC but it will be fun getting together with friends for dinner. Have a great day💕
and a very belated happy thanksgiving, rebecca! NYC has certainly had it’s fair share of bad weather. but it’s that time of year. stay warm and wishing you a very merry christmas season. xo
Happy Thanksgiving! Looking forward to reading the e-magazine- I just bought it!!
hi nina! and a very belated happy thanksgiving. can you tell the holidays have already put me behind schedule? thanks so much for purchasing the eMagazine! i hope you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed putting it together. xo
I bought the e magazine last night when I was searching your blog for an old post and sat here reading it rather than working on a clients file. naughty I know but it was after 10pm our time. You are one very talented lady Beth and that male assistant of yours I would think is pretty talented as well. Happy thanksgiving.
oh jackie, that’s music to our ears. it was lots of work but so much fun to put together. i am thrilled that you enjoyed it. thanks so much for your support. xo
Congrats on the inaugural issue of your magazine! I have a question about this post—I’m in love with the leather chair you’re sitting in for some of your photos. What can you tell me about it?
hi gai! thanks so much for stopping by. the leather chair is a wyndham swivel lounge chair. here’s a link: https://bit.ly/2ARx6KO
Oops–I guess somehow I commented on your e-magazine in a different post–you all put a lot of effort into it. It looks great. I can hardly believe Thanksgiving is gone already. It’s by far my favorite holiday, and Christmas comes so quickly right on its heels. Enjoy the season–holly jolly!
and a very merry christmas, sue! i guess your knee replacement constitutes as a gift, right?! wishing you a speedy recovery. xo
