the skies are overcast here in georgia with rain and more rain in the forecast. but mr. style and i managed to dodge a few raindrops on our way to date night. dinner and a movie are on the agenda this evening. if you haven’t seen Mission Impossible get thee to a theater ASAP as this thriller does not disappoint. this is one movie franchise that gets better with age and so does the MI team. it was 2 1/2 hours of adrenaline pumping through your veins and sitting on the edge of your seat. the director j.j. abrams grabs your attention in the opening scene and doesn’t let go until the ending credits. phew!

my date night outfit consisted of a horizontal striped tee, vertical striped blazer (similar here), white chinos, nude block heels and straw clutch (similar here). a pair of jewel-encrusted earrings (similar here) add a little zing. and a denim belt repurposed from another pair of blue jeans cinches the deal. see how easy it is to walk out the door for date night feeling chic and casual? now go grab your significant other or even your best girlfriend and go watch Mission Impossible. you won’t be disappointed.
