what a difference a day makes! the sun is shining, the temps are a glorious sixty-five degrees, and it’s the first time in over two weeks my fanny hasn’t frozen during a photo shoot. hip, hip, hooray! the little things in life make all the difference.
today, it’s all about wardrobe staples. nothing fancy just a simple pair of gray rockstar denim from old navy and navy blue puffer jacket from talbots purchased recently. the ruffled pockets give it a little zing, and it doubles nicely as a blazer. gray is a wonderful winter neutral that looks fantastic with blue. if you’re going for a wow factor add a pop of orange. it’s a great change of pace from red, and it pairs beautifully with gray or blue. the scarf has an adorable winter sweater motif plus braid trim. and it’s on sale. ’nuff said.

whenever i trot out this handbag by italian brand iacucci there are always lots of questions. this is one of my favorite handbags that matches my luggage. due to the tri-color scheme, it’s tough to link to similar bags. but when you’re on the hunt for a handbag the details to match are the satchel shape, top handle, and removable cross-body strap. take a look at these here, here, and here. hope that helps!
happy hump day, gang! we’re halfway through the week.

Very nice look. That bag is a great one — love the color combination and have had it in my head to buy one when I find one with a similar look. Hadn’t heard of that brand so will check it out too.
it seems i always find the best handbags when i’m not looking. but when i see one i love i pounce! it’s money well spent as they last for years.
