Hi Ladies! Since Kelly and Alex gave a recap of their trip to California, I thought I would share snippets of my trip to Texas last week. The LTK conference is always lots of fun as I get to meet up with old friends like Deb from Fabulous After 40 and make new ones like Nanette from Sweet Fringe Benefits. What is LTK? Well, that’s the affiliate company I work with that has launched the careers of many, many women (and men) of all ages who share their lives (and clothes, home decor, beauty and skincare, travel) with their readers. Thanks to all of you who shop through my links, I am a top influencer on LTK. Thank you so much for the love and support you have given me and my team - Kelly, Jennifer, and Marlene! My future DIL Chelsea is now helping me over on Instagram. It truly takes a village to create and share all of our content here on the blog, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook. So, let’s have a look at my LTK Conference Recap!
Today, Beth shares her recap of the LTK Conference
The outfits are shoppable via text and image widgets
I want to share a few sights and sounds of the conference and what I wore. I have to be honest as I typically don’t shop for new clothes for the event outside of the big shindig they throw on the last night. So don’t kill me if I don’t have links. I will share the brand names with you as I know many of you take that information and head to Poshmark, eBay, or any other resale platform.
Deb and I fly in the day before the conference so we can have dinner and catch up before all of the hullabaloo begins on Monday afternoon!

Check-in takes place on Monday afternoon then we zip off the the brand hall where we get to stop by say hello and pick up new products to test. I’m a big fan of Bloomingdale’s, as I worked there when I lived in San Francisco. I loved my job as a Ralph Lauren specialist for the Home Department. My love for Ralph runs deep, as many of you know, so I was thrilled to represent the brand at Bloomies! And if you haven’t shopped at Bloomingdale’s, let me recommend this iconic retailer. They have a great loyalty program and fantastic sales, so don’t let the price point deter you. If you shop wisely, you can score some great deals!

The last evening was so much fun! A beautiful classical ensemble was perched on pedestals and was a joy to watch and listen to. I purchased a new dress for the event and am happy I did! It’s a flattering fit and reminded me of the first dress my Mom made for me when I went to my first dance in the 8th grade. My Mom’s version was black velvet with a lace bodice. I wish I had a photo to share, but I remember the dance as if it was yesterday. I felt sooooo grown up!

Ohhhh! I feel so good! I have that same sequinned jumpsuit that Deborah is wearing. It was from Talbot’s (but not their brand) a couple years back. I feel so validated!
Everyone looks lovely!
It’s Maggy London. But Deb looked fabulous per usual.
Congratulations for being a top influencer- you stand out above others for many reasons but particularly because you write beautifully, generously share information you’ve put a lot of time into finding and have super style.
Thank you so much! I have a lot of fun along the way, but it’s readers like you that truly make it all worthwhile!
Thanks for being here.
It was clearly an amazing event. I was delighted to see you in a photo with Kay Harms – she is one of the other style influencers (ugh, I wish there were another term to use) whose videos and blogs I follow. Both of you present classy but contemporary styles, “shop your closet,” and help us to embrace and enjoy the wisdom and grace we have achieved as we mature.
It was a jam-packed week, but the best part was hanging out with an amazing group of women!
You are such an inspiraton. Thank you for your effort to make a mature woman have a chance to look wonderful.
Isn’t it good to know that style has no expiration date?!
This was a really interesting post! Thanks for all the information … you looked good in each of your outfits but WOW!! that black and white dress for the special event night — with you in it — is a standout!
So glad you enjoyed the post, Carolina Girl! It was a fun week!
