metallics and murals

the street scenes in san francisco are a never-ending source of inspiration. our tiny apartment is tucked away not too far from an international destination – haight and ashbury. needless to say, we rarely take photos on haight street, what with all the tourists snapping photos, tour buses buzzing by, and the ever present sixties wanna-be’s. but every so often something catches our eye, and boom. something clicks. today’s ootd is on metallic overload starting with my sandals, onto my bermudas, my leather jacket, and even my handbag. somehow, with the muted color scheme, it works. i know some of you might be hesitant about pairing heels with shorts, but that works too, and elevates the look to sophisticated chic. if this is something that might be outside of your comfort zone, i’m going to nudge you to try something new. what’s the worst that could happen? who knows, you just might surprise yourself, and have a new look.
