san francisco has taught me one thing when it comes to clothes. learn to layer. the calendar may be saying summer, but the weather sometimes feels like fall. so tying a sweater around my neck is always a good idea. then if the wind picks up or the temps dip, i’m ready. i’m starting off the week on a casual note, but keeping it classic with a good old fashioned tennis sweater which i’ve owned for at least a decade. if not more. the ootd is freshened up with a linen striped skirt bought this summer. a timeless navy blue silk blouse can easily fly solo, but looks just as great underneath the sweater. my white handbag matches my sandals and each accessory has gold accents that give the outfit pizazz. now, it’s off for a much-needed cup of coffee – it is monday, after all, and caffeine is a ready ally to help kick-start my week.

Great outfit and with the sweater around your shoulders it’s a very French look, too.
i do like this outfit. easy, breezy, is what usually works best for me!
