a bright neon skirt is paired with my go-to moto jacket for today’s ootd. the skirt is high-waisted which i am not so i paid close attention to proportions. a short jacket was the way to go with this skirt as a longer one would have thrown the overall look off. a study of contrasts is going on between modern and feminine. the eyelet skirt, plus the addition of pearls keeps the overall look soft and sweet, but the moto jacket and leather bracelet toughen it up a bit. the blouse and skirt are neon bright so i toned it down with black. add a structured handbag, high-heel pumps and the outfit is finished with a nod towards the classics that is clean and sophisticated with a fresh, modern twist.
