who says we have to have the blues when monday morning rolls around? then again, maybe it’s a good idea to incorporate a blue color scheme into our work wardrobe. when it’s time to pull out the work attire, pencil skirts and blazers are the perfect pair, but why not add a vest now and then to jazz things up? this season, vests are quite on trend. the longer the better. and it gives this nine-to-five chic ootd the edge it needs to set it apart. the vest would have looked fantastic with a belt cinched around but i left it open to reveal the cascading lapels. a light blue button up and a pair of indigo blue sandals have this office appropriate outfit ‘singing the blues.’ now, i’m ready to head out the door in style. take that monday morning!
