my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale haul
two happen to be the best fitting pants i’ve had the pleasure to try for quite some time. first up is the perfect black pants from Spanx. they have the comfort of leggings with a pull-on design. but there is a tailored back seam that gives this pant style for days. it’s the perfect black pant to sport with sweaters or tops of any type.
the second pair of pants are denim from Wit and Wisdom. i’ve shared these jeans with you before and i have to admit they are one flattering pair of jeans with their mold and hold technology. these are classic dark rinse jeans that every woman should have on hand. but if you’re in the mood for boot cut jeans or houndstooth or straight leg cropped jeans Wit & Wisdom delivers.
this funnel neck sweater is just the ticket for a crisp fall day. it pairs beautifully with the perfect black pant. but let’s not forget about accessories that are always the icing on the cake. to keep the outfit casual and chic i chose a pair of snakeskin sneakers that compliments the black and blue color combo. but what about this tweed handbag that gives this ootd personality for days?!
the Spanx pants fit tts. i am wearing a size medium. but several reviewers mentioned the pants ran small and to size up one size.

Eileen Fisher is always a good idea but when this brand is on sale it’s even better! both the silk and cashmere tunic and sweater coat (similar here) were purchased in-store during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. the tunic is available online. sadly, the sweater coat is not. since Eileen Fisher runs big i size down to an S/P. the Wit & Wisdom jeans fit like a glove and i have on a size 8.

it’s hard to believe we’re headed into September. those temps will be cooler sooner than later. where did the summer disappear to?
Insider information – Heard Nordstrom experienced a delay in orders because of horrible wind and storm in Iowa. I guess they have a shipping warehouse there that sustained damage thus affecting many orders.
i’m certain that storm compounded things. but Nordstrom is notoriously slow during their Anniversary sale and it can be a bit frustrating. but there are worse problems to have. right?!
