Nordstrom Anniversary 2021 Preview Picks
it’s here. the granddaddy of all sales. it’s time to make our lists and check them twice. but don’t worry ‘cuz Santa isn’t in charge of who’s naughty or nice. today, i’m dishing up Nordstrom Anniversary 2021 preview picks. for an entire week, we can go online and put together our wish lists. whether it’s lingerie, wardrobe staples, shoes, home, beauty, or simply items that caught our eye this week, we can thoughtfully shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. if you want to stay abreast of my preview picks, we’ve made it easy. simply head to the top of the blog and click the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale tab in yellow.
Nordstrom has added over 100 new brands this year, so i’m curious what’s the latest and greatest. one thing to note: you can shop by brand or shop by categories. then the item you’re interested in can be added to your Wish List. Nordstrom is an easy site to navigate, so this sale will be fun to shop for.
Nordstrom Anniversary 2021 preview picks
today’s Nordstrom Anniversary 2021 preview picks are not an exhaustive list by any stretch of the means. but i’m sharing items that i typically shop for at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. it’s a great time to stock up on lingerie, so i always have one of two must-haves from that category. if you missed my in-depth lingerie post, please read that here. are you ready? let’s get going!
lingerie
Wacoal, Chantelle, Hanky Panky, and Spanx are all favorite lingerie brands.
activewear
Zella is a perennial favorite. but Sweaty Betty is coming on strong.
shoe and boots
handbags and luggage
brands i trust for luggage: Tumi, Longchamp, and Briggs & Riley. and you can’t go wrong with a handbag from Tory Burch, Coach, or Clare V.
coats, jackets, and blazers
whether you need an investment coat or want to add some pizazz with a faux shearling jacket, there’s plenty of coats to choose from this year. an iconic Veronica Beard blazer is featured along with a hooded dickey.
top and sweaters
i head to the luxury brands for this category. Vince is an all-time favorite. and it’s a good time to stock up on cashmere. neutral colors are your best bets.
pants and skirts
separates are always good investments due to their versatility. last year i purchased the Spanx pants that i LOVE. Wit and Wisdom are great-fitting jeans. now’s a good time to add a luxury brand like Frame into your closet.
dresses and jumpsuits
y’all know i’m a big fan of both dresses and jumpsuits. dresses are perfect for work or special occasions. jumpsuits are just plain fun to wear and a nice alternative to denim.
next week i will be shopping in the store with my daughter-in-law. and again with one of my friends so i will share my Nordstrom haul when i come home. happy shopping!

I too have previewed the Anniversary Sale, and it is a big fat MEH. The sale includes items from LAST YEAR’s sale (I have at least three of them in my closet!), though marked up. Your post mentions Vince and cashmere. There isn’t one pure cashmere sweater from Vince. The Nordstrom Signature options are spare, boxy and drab. Lagos is not participating for the first time in years. AGL has just three shoe styles. Muddy, shapeless offerings from Lafayette and Eileen Fisher. Incredibly disappointing after 16 months of pandemic and quarantine.
