Veronica Beard is always on my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale shopping list. This year, they have several blazers in sale: a metallic cotton-blend tweed jacket, a stretch corduroy dickey jacket, and the faux leather dickey jacket I tried on in the store with a floral blouse and AG ex-boyfriend jeans. I sized up to a 10 in the blazer in case I wanted to wear it with a chunky sweater, but the size 8 fits to a T. And I love the slim, not skinny, fit of the ex-boyfriend jeans.

One of my favorite finds at this year’s sale is the Isle Jacobson Metallic Slip-On Sneakers that come in six colors. I love the platform sole! But if you are looking for comfort Ilse Jacobson delivers in spades. The sneaker has a cushioned insole and perforations around the sole so they’re breathable. I also have a 1″ sole pair of sneakers from Ilse in red. Honestly, you’ll feel like you’re walking on air when you slip these sneakers on.

My Midwest roots always come into play as I always gravitate towards sweaters, jackets, and coats at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. How cute is this Frame Denim Jacket? It’s the perfect weight for fall and spring and since it’s denim it will go with everything. The navy striped sweater is a size medium, and the pink striped sweater is a size small. It’s a boxy sweater so you can choose your regular size or size down one size for a slimmer fit.

This Farm Rio top is sold out, so I am glad I snapped it up in-store. It wasn’t on my wish list, but when I saw it in-store, I decided to try it on. I am so glad I did because this top (like all Farm Rio) is so much fun to wear. It’s also a great long sleeve top for summer, if you like to keep your arms covered.
