one thing, although there are many, i admire about french style is the effortless chic it exudes. trenchcoat – check; scarf – check; ballet flats – check, lipstick – check. timeless elegance at its best. and better, it teaches a valuable lesson that fashion need not be a slave to trends. of course, any french woman knows what the current trends are, but she picks and chooses what to incorporate into her individual style, keeping true to herself. classical, elegant, timeless – catherine deneuve, emmanuelle alt, ines de la fressange all know these are the attributes that keep a woman looking her best through the years. merci beaucoup, madames. vive le francaise!
