Happy Friday, gang! And it’s the last Friday in September. October is coming in fast, so it’s time to embrace all things fall. The weather has been absolutely beautiful in this neck of the woods, with lows in the 50s and highs hovering around 80-something. I’ll take it! Kelly is back with an a-ma-zing recipe, I have a yummy cocktail recipe to usher in the weekend – and we are wearing prints and patterns for fall. Of course, our favorite German Shepherd is making his weekly appearance. Are you ready to get this party started?! Or, at the very least, kick off the weekend!

The star of today’s outfit is this Fair Isle sweater vest that hails from Boden. It’s the perfect third layer when temps are mild, and you don’t necessarily need a sweater. This vest has nearly sold out, but if you like the pattern and colors, it also comes in a cardigan.
A wardrobe staple that I reach for again and again is back in action - a white button-down. Waxed denim is back on trend this year, and I love this olive green waxed denim that will go with so many things! I’ve already paired it with a chunky sweater, and suede Chelsea boots, and a silk-striped blouse with gold kitten heels. Love versatility.

I have had this graphic animal print shirt for years, it’s from J.Crew, so I was happy to see this very similar version at Talbots! The Colette Skirt you saw Beth and I wear a couple of weeks ago is back in action today. The afternoons are pleasantly warm, so it’s perfect skirt weather. My open-toe booties are several years old, but this style is still on point for fall. I love them for this shoulder-season weather. I found a similar version by Vince Camuto, in a beautiful neutral color for fall.

Raspberry Bourbon Buck
Today's Raspberry Bourbon Buck incorporates fall raspberries and fall's favorite spirit, bourbon. In a tall glass with a topper of ginger ale, it's a refreshing cocktail that allows you to dial back the alcohol content.
Cheesy Green Bean and Mushroom Braid
