shop sunday style | preppy
since spring is almost sprung, at least here in my new digs, georgia, i thought i would share what’s on my style radar screen. or should i say, my preppy radar screen? many of you write in and ask what sort of shopping habits i have, and while i am not a power shopper, when i am out and about i always have one eye out for items that appeal to me, even at target. and there are certain items like denim skirts, gingham shirts, cashmere cardigans, and striped tees that are always welcome in my closet (along with blazers), along with jazzy accessories. lately, i’ve been loving dangly earrings for the evening, and statement necklaces in bright colors for daytime pop. straw or wicker handbags are a staple for spring/summer, as well as printed totes. and last, but not least, i’m a sucker for a nice pair of flats. so sit back and relax with a cup of coffee and shop sunday | preppy.
