every few months or so, i share photos of my haircut. why? because questions about my hair are the most commonly asked here at Style at a Certain Age. and i’m happy to share which products i use on a day-to-day basis.
last week i zipped up to atlanta for a haircut, so it was the perfect time for mr. style to snap the ‘do’ from all sides. and i wanted to mention what a talented stylist i finally found after months of searching. for those of you who have been following me from the beginning know i had an amazing stylist in san francisco! karmen’s shoes were tough to fill. if you’re interested, you can read all about this talented woman here. this is an interview with karmen from my over | under series.
but nothing lasts forever. and since our relocation to georgia, the search began for a new hair salon and new hair stylist. there have been a few hits and misses along the way. but this is my second time to visit Tran at Salon Next located in Atlanta. and my search is finally over. take a look at the photos and you’ll see why! a short haircut can be tricky. and it’s always about elegant layers. but Tran knows his stuff, and i leave the salon looking and feeling my best. which is what a great haircut will do for you.
what hair and skincare products do i use? the links are listed below.
shampoo, Kerastase Discipline Bain Fluidealiste. conditioner Kerastase Discipline Fondant Fluidealiste. once a week: deep conditioner Kerastase Discipline Maskeratine.
this past summer i switched over to a korean skincare line. OMG! they are wildly expensive but worth every penny. i have definitely noticed a difference. at 58 skincare, haircare, and exercise is prioritized as an investment. but there are different price points for any product and any budget. so keep that in mind when you’re figuring out the ROI.
