Happy Wednesday, gang! March 1st has arrived and with it the promise of spring. I love this time of year when it’s time to lighten and brighten my home decor and my closet! We're keeping it super simple today and reviewing Ann Taylor's spring sale.
And if you love to shop a good sale Ann Taylor is offering 30% off your purchase. Ann has been one of my favorite brands for years. When I lived overseas and returned home for the summer holiday one of the first retailers I stopped by was Ann Taylor.
Why? First, AT pants are one of the best-fitting pants out there, and believe me I’ve wiggled into many, many pants throughout the years. They offer a wide variety of silhouettes: skinny, slim, ankle, straight, trouser, and wide leg. Plus their pants come in regular, petite, tall, and even curvy! Second, I love Ann’s modern take on classic wardrobe essentials. And third, I love shoes and Ann Taylor always has a great shoe selection from classic pumps to trendy mules.
There are several items I keep on hand to wear in a pinch. A neutral pencil skirt in seasonless stretch, little black dress, and an essential mock neck sweater shell that looks fantastic tucked under a blazer or jacket or all on its own. And I’m a big fan of the Ann Taylor white button-up. Size up for an oversized look that’s on trend!
But I also love to shop a good sale, especially at the beginning of a new season. I not only stock up on wardrobe essentials but splurge on items that will supplement my wardrobe basics.
Today, I'm reviewing Ann Taylor's spring sale
I'm mostly focusing on dresses, blazers, skirts, and shorts. But I've pulled in everything from pants to accessories too
All of my sale picks are shoppable inline, but some of them I've pulled out into image widgets as well
Give me all the dresses once spring has arrived. Plus, it’s special occasion season with Easter, Mother’s Day, and graduations all on our to-do list. This is when a dress or two come in handy!
This mock neck midi flare dress caught my eye as did the short sleeve flare dress, and the sleeveless v-neck flare dress is classic, tailored, and oh so versatile.
A denim shirtdress (this one has pockets!) is always hanging in my closet and I’m a sucker when it comes to tweed so it’s no surprise this tweed midi dress is in my cart.
Y’all know my love affair with blazers runs deep. Ann Taylor is keeping the love alive with this cutaway jacket in tweed that will look fantastic with the cap sleeve v-neck sheath dress or high-rise cropped white denim.
I also liked this Textured Sweater Jacket that comes in blue and winter white. This jacket is the perfect third layer for chilly temps and looks great with high-rise ankle pants or bootcut jeans. But if you’re looking for a classic trench coat this one has a five-star rating.
Ann Taylor is always up to date with the current color schemes. This year true blues, sunlit yellow, and vibrant corals are all having a moment. If you’re color shy then ease into the color trends with a scarf or a belt.
Skirts are a wonderful addition to any wardrobe and I’m a big fan of this versatile separate. How cute is this floral bias slip skirt that has a matching blouse for a matching set or try it with a tipped shoulder button tee.
Shorts are on my horizon as the temps slowly heat up. Ann Taylor has a flattering boardwalk short in several color options. But these side zip plaid shorts caught my eye as they are perfect for a resort vacation and can be dressed up with a button blazer or down with the relaxed perfect shirt.
