for a fun casual weekend look i love putting on a skirt. it is a separate that can be dressed up or down, depending on your mood. dresses are fabulous, but they can be limiting as far versatility is concerned. which is why i reserve them for special occasions or hot summer days. skirts on the other hand can take you in several different directions, and are a staple in my wardrobe. stripes never go out of style so put a skirt and stripes together and you are looking at longevity. since the weather has been on the cool side here in san francisco the past few days, i chose to pair my striped skirt with a long navy cardigan and a lightweight ivory sweater underneath. lately, i’m in love with my panama hat from target and i thought it would be the perfect accessory to pump up the volume for this laid-back chic look. wedge metallic sandals complete my casual chic saturday ootd that has window shopping, plus coffee and dessert on the agenda.
