stripes away
keeping it casual on this cool tuesday. this time of year it is quite windy in san francisco so it’s always a bit of a challenge to keep my hair in place! but mother nature is tough to beat. i pulled out my yellow jeans, and kept it monochromatic with a silk blouse that just about matches perfectly. this blue striped moto jacket was the perfect accessory, and gives the outfit the a subtle wow factor. lately, i’ve been favoring a set of brushed matte bangles that seem to go with everything. the pearl necklace is one of my favorites, and i always receive numerous compliments when i wear it. to finish off today’s ootd i donned a pair of two-toned ballet flats that have a fun lucite and gold heel. so we’re off and running for the first week of august. i can’t believe it’s almost time to think about my favorite season of all – fall.

I know it’s a bit late to comment… I got that very same jacket when I was in Philly last Spring but would have never dared wearing it with some yellow clothes! Looks fabulous! What a great idea! Thanks! 🙂
