flats go with everything. dresses, skirts, pants, and blue jeans. i always have at least one pair of ballet flats or pointy-toe flats on hand. keep on eye on the luxury brands for current styles. either splurge on a classic pair or you might copy the ‘look’ with a brand that isn’t as expensive. steal vs. splurge. personally, i love j.crew shoes as their selection is always on point and are made in italy. but nordstrom might be the queen of all shoes – and watch for their shoe sales – amazing.
sneakers are so on trend at the moment. and i don’t think they will disappear from the fashion scene anytime soon. tennis shoes are comfortable and versatile so feel free to stock up on your favorite styles as they go with dresses, shorts or denim. but don’t forget that sneakers and workouts go hand-in-hand.
who isn’t thrilled that block heels are so ‘in’ these days! they heel height runs the gamut from 1″ to 3″ so pick your poison. errrr, the right height for you.
hello kitty. yes, the kitten heel is on trend for spring 2017. this is a heel height i always keep on hand as i think it never goes out of style.
ties or laces are big this spring and summer. so it’s only fitting this post wraps it up with this trend.
happy sunday!

Some really fun outfits. I love flats and have always worn them (especially more recently after knee replacement). Could you share your height? You look about my height (5’7″) so I always feel your styling would work well for me.
hi rebecca!
i am closer to 5’8″ than 5’7″ so good guess!

I’ve always loved shoes and have always had lots of them. I tend to wear mostly flats now, and thankfully, there are so many gorgeous ones out there. I wore heels most of my life and love the way they make your legs look, but these days I just don’t want to hurt! But a good shoe is definitely a thing of beauty!
These all look great.
you are so right about the fact high heels make our legs look great! but nothing beats a pair of flats for comfort. do you have a few sneakers in your shoe repertoire? i have to say i’m loving this trend and especially like my ‘blingy’ slip-on’s. they go with so many outfits!

I love shoes and every day I pay attention to your shoes because they are always so cute!!! As I look through this post, Beth, I realize that you are such a trend setter. You don’t mind putting something new and different out there and I appreciate that you are not a cookie cutter fashion blogger. You do you!! Keep inspiring us with your confidence, we are looking and listening!!
hi janie!
just returned to athens today so i’m catching up on my correspondence. and what a sweet comment to come home to! thanks so much for taking the time to write. i’m so happy to hear you are paying attention to my shoes. i’ve always said the devil is in the details and shoes make or break your outfit! plus, there are so many cute choices and heel heights available these days.
