Beautiful colors in all of these. I’m still wearing some of my winter things, but definitely notice I’m incorporating color as well, with such spring-like temps so early.

The past week got chilly again, though, and I admit I was glad I still had warm things to grab for…such a strange winter. Tonight, we have a crackling fire in the fireplace, and it was 28 degrees outside last night. But the redbuds are blooming, bradford pear trees are abloom all over, and our daffodils are already a thing of the past. Camellias are still going strong, and tulips are on the way up. Spring is definitely on its way.

    1. it did get cold again. we’ve had to crank the heat on in the morning to chase the chill away. i’m not certain what the trees think with all this back-and-forth. but the bradford pears have already bloomed. so i think i’m going to plant my window boxes this weened. even though it’s been a mild winter i’m ready to sit on my porch again.
