flora and fauna abound everywhere here in san francisco. so i’m taking my cue from nature and stealing some style inspiration. loving the deeper hue of green with my military jacket. it’s the perfect partner with my preppy skirt. there’s a touch of femininity with a ruffled collar popover that has dose of delicate pink polka dots sprinkled throughout. one of my style secrets is to balance an outfit with equal measures of masculine and feminine. try it. you’ll see that it works. a pair of pointy-toed leopard flats polish this ootd off, plus i can walk for miles in them. practicality in motion.

Hi Beth, In a previous post you talked about skincare, but how about your makeup? What products do you use. You don’t look “madeup”….just tweeked! I’ve been thinking of going to a makeup counter to have someone professional do my makeup, but there are just too many companies to make a decision. I don’t want to look over done, especially since I am of “a certain age!” Thanks!

i think it’s a great idea to stop by your local department store for a makeup tweek. that’s where i head to get all of my advice. i use a variety of products: laura mercier for foundation, dior for blush, nars for lipstick. if you have a competent makeup artist they will pull from a variety of vendors.
