Well, Ladies, the day has come; today is the last day of the 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Today is the last day to take advantage of the great deals on fashion, accessories, and items for the home. It can be tough to switch our fashion brains to fall and winter clothes when the temperatures outside are in the 90s, but the #NSale is the best time of year to update your fall and winter wardrobe. It has been many years since I have found the anniversary sale worthwhile. For example, both my husband and I wear wide width shoes and the sale offerings were paltry! I have tried to revise my shopping habits in recent years and I’m much more thoughtful about purchases. Cost per wear is more important to me than actual cost. I realize your blog depends upon affiliate links so I hope I’m not being too harsh but I think retailers and consumers have been caught in an endless cycle of promoting and seeking “sale” prices.
I wouldn’t disagree about brands offering “sales” prices. Unfortunately, that’s what the American consumer responds to. And I completely agree about shopping quality over quantity. However, the Anniversary Sale offers fall and winter items on sale before the season begins and if we’re smart we can shop the sale strategically and stock up on lingerie or knock out some Christmas gifts.
