three strikes

when july rolls into town you know summer is in full swing. that means a slew of activities pop up on your agenda: barbeques, baseball games, parades, or just hanging out on the patio sipping a cold drink. today’s post is geared for a laid-back look that would take you to any casual event, looking cool, and casually chic. if i’m venturing off to a ballgame i don’t want anything too fancy, so a pair of faded blue jeans, a simple cotton tunic, and sandals will usually do the trick. i couldn’t resist adding a straw handbag which is oh-so-summer appropriate. plus, it’ll keep my phone and wallet at the ready if need be. the sandals could easily be exchanged for sneakers or espadrilles and still be in keeping with my laid-back look. and it’s one, two, three strikes you’re out at the old ballgame.
