buongiorno amici miei! if you have not yet paid a visit to Italy, put this country on your bucket list ASAP. fresh pasta, red wine, breathtaking landscapes, history, plus great fashion. what’s not to love?! and as far as fashion goes i’ve seen the gamut. bright colors, dresses, skirts, sneakers, sandals, subtle, over-the-top, you name it, it’s here. and it’s done in bright, vivid strokes. In Italy, it’s all about living your life and living it well – la dolce vita. i’ll be forever smitten with this country.
perhaps my black and white ootd isn’t bright and bold, but it’s sweet and sassy and perfecto for cena e chianti. si? this tiered floral maxi skirt catches the breeze and moves with you. dress it up or down depending on your mood but this skirt will serve me well all summer long. today, i popped on a sleeveless top from Banana Republic, grabbed a cashmere cardigan, slipped into kitten heel metallic sandals then finished the outfit off with a skinny belt. now all i need is that glass of red wine and the scene is set. ciao bella!

I love your outfit! It goes so well with the backdrop of Italy! And ohhh Italy – how I wish I was there! It’s been a while since I was there and oh I just loved it!
I love this outfit – especially the skirt. It’s beautiful!
Not for nothing did Verdi say: “You may have the universe if I may have Italy.” I’ve been all over that gorgeous country and never tire of it. It hit me viscerally like no other place I’ve traveled to. And I’ve traveled a lot.
Very pretty, for sure–I love the crisp white sleeveless top with the dark accent at the neck.
Have an Aperol Spritz for me–cin-cin!
