Happy Thursday! I am continuing our focus on blazers this week with a relaxed blazer in a herringbone-like pattern. Adding a blazer to your casual outfit instantly elevates your look. Even if it’s a relaxed or knit blazer, it just pulls the whole outfit together for a more polished look that can take you anywhere. So, Top Off Your Fall Outfit with a Relaxed Blazer.

(Madewell)
My relaxed blazer has a geometric herringbone-like print. This blazer is from last year, but I found a similar style, also from Madewell. This similar 2023 version is knit, rather than wool-blend, but it has the same relaxed style that mixes a polished look with a cozy feel.
I have my Colette Cropped Wide-Leg Jeans back in action today because I wanted to play with the trend of wearing cropped wide-leg pants with tall boots. It’s a fun and fresh look for fall.
These Stuart Weitzman boots from Nordstrom Rack are from last year, but there is a similar version in black available now at a deep discount. I did also find a similar maroon-colored tall boot from Sam Edelman.
The versatile Transport Shoulder Crossbody Bag is a go-to day-to-day for me. It also comes in black. It comes with two removable straps, one for crossbody wear and one for shoulder wear. I like the flexibility to switch up the straps depending on my needs.
(Quince)
This Washable Stretch Silk Puff Sleeve Blouse is the other blouse I purchased at Quince. It’s a perfect blouse for the holiday season, it’s versatile and polished. This dark green color will pair well with my tartan pants and skirts come Christmastime. I love the buttons on this blouse, they match the blouse in color and their unique shape and finish are lovely details that feel feminine and sophisticated.

Hi! Can you please tell me what the acronyms “TL DR” stand for?
Too long; didn’t read
Thanks, Nancy!
Love this happy color combo! Thanks Beth; I’m seriously considering. I’m a big Talbots fan too!
Hi Carolina Girl! Isn’t this plaid blazer something else? I loved the color scheme!
Kelly, you look adorable! Love the comfy neutral blazer with the burgundy accessories and jeans. Thanks for showing it so well.
Thank you so much, Carolina Girl! xo Kelly
Kelly, this is just such a great look. I am definitely going to imitate it — except I probably won’t go with olive as it’s not my best color. But I just love it. Thanks.
Thanks, Maeve – glad you like this outfit! xo Kelly
I love these outfits you and Kelly are wearing here! You both look fantastic! Some of my favorite stores and Talbots and Anthropologie and I love how you model the clothes for us! Thank you!
