Happy Friday, ladies! I hope your week went well. Sometimes, the shorter work week feels like it’s twice as long. At least that’s how it felt to me. Monday was the trip home from Tybee which went off without a hitch. Tuesday I bopped off to the Oral Surgeon and had a broken tooth extracted. Now it’s time to let it heal for three months before we move on to an implant. I can’t even tell you what a relief it is to finally have the broken tooth removed. It’s been a long three month process as it took two months to get into the Oral Surgeon for a consultation and another month to schedule surgery. Onward! We Welcome September with Casual Style! 

I always look forward to Fridays with Oscar as Kelly stops by to whip up a yummy appetizer or main dish. Since it’s football season stay tuned to a post devoted to tailgating. But today it’s all about a mushroom flatbread that I know you will want to try and a Blackberry Bourbon Renewal that’s the perfect accompaniment.

Kelly’s Outfit: Fall Chinos

It’s been too hot to wear chino pants this summer, but now it’s starting to cool down, and I am breaking out my chinos! These are from last year, but there is always a good selection of chinos at J.Crew Factory.

I have my Relaxed Cashmere Tee back in action today, as I mentioned yesterday, this top is a go-to. I am also happy to break out my sneakers for the season. These Onitsuka Tiger Sneakers have been a favorite of mine for years. They are very light and comfortable.
