Each year, J.Crew has a collaboration with Liberty Prints and I always keep an eye out for the new floral print. Usually, their Liberty prints show up on bathing suits and shirts. I like this year’s Ellie Ruth Pink Print because it’s a beautiful combination of pink and orange flowers that sit atop a wavy khaki stripe pattern.

The Cropped Gamine Shirt is a J.Crew style I fell in love with last year. I have this style in white and a very cute navy and white mermaid print. If you’re petite, this is a great button-up because it’s not cropped on us – instead, it hits right at the hip. No tucking needed! I bet this top will be a J.Crew mainstay, being restocked in solid colors and rolled out in seasonal prints for years to come (this is my hope, at least!).

When in doubt about casual footwear in the summer, slide into a pair of leather thong sandals – they are trending this year, and not just for the poolside or beach-going. A sleek pair of leather thongs are casual, but more elevated than a sporty version made of leather or rubber. This pair went with me on many dusty, wet, and sandy adventures in Mexico and held up really well.

This Bembian Jeanne Leather Bag is on loan from Beth’s collection and I have to say that I loved it so much, I may have to purchase one of my own! This exact color of the Bembian Jeanne Leather Bag is no longer available, but there is a cream color available. And you can find a black version at J.Crew.
I have had a wicker woven Bembien bag for several years and it’s held up beautifully. The woven leather bags are even more durable and will last a lifetime – a great investment if you ask me!
I love how the leather straps are braided on the Jeanne Leather Bag. A gorgeous detail that makes the shoulder straps comfortable and strong. The Bembien bag I have my eye on? The Camilla Bag in caramel.
