a style formula is as easy as 1, 2, 3 if you have a few classics hanging in your closet. denim? check. silk blouse? check. blazer? check. handbag? check. now that we have the ingredients all that’s left to do is mix them together. today’s ootd is all about after-hour casual chic. although, many of you wouldn’t mind running from appointment to appointment in a pair of blue jeans and blazer. it all depends on where you’re going. which is the first question i ask myself when i’m putting outfits together. and for me, nothing trumps a blazer paired with blue jeans. especially if i’m headed out the door for an evening french class held in the local pub. a silk blouse, a string of pearls, a pair of pointy-toed pumps, and i’m off. bon jour classe!

You are an incredible role model filled with style, grace, confidence etc etc. I think I have pinned every pin I can find of you. What an inspiration. I have written the book, Faith Full Retirement – The Woman’s Guide to Finding Joy in Her Later Years. Chapter 6 is Your Appearance. I write of how important it is to not let yourself go because to live your best years you must work on looking your best, to do and feel your best. At any age.
