cheers to sunday, gang, and the end of another glorious, if not rainy, weekend. today i thought we’d hit the rewind button and stroll through some of your favorite blog posts from 2018. i don’t know about you but i cannot believe summer is quickly drawing to an end. are you ready for fall? honestly, i’m hanging on to every last minute of summer but you’ll never find me complaining about fall fashion. what is it about suede, and boots, and sweaters that makes my heart go pitter patter? whatever it is, i’ll take two of everything. but before summer turns into fall let’s take a moment and look back at the content i created and take note of what resonated most with you. here’s a peek at what you might have missed on Style at a Certain Age. click on the links to read the full post.
January
one of the blog’s all-time favorite posts where i share my style uniform.
if the cold winds are blowing it’s time to bundle up. read huff n’ puff for all the details. we’ll be grabbing puffer coats again in no time.
this sweater and ruffle shirt combo from it’s ann was one of my winter favorites. can’t wait to wear these Everlane loafers again.
February
dishing up spinach mushroom lasagna and some spring greens. it’s so much fun to share recipes and cocktails with you. if you missed friday’s blog post there’s a behind the scenes tour of the kitchen where all the slicing and dicing is done.
what valentine’s dinner is complete without a snazzy outfit and a table for two?
it was time to retire my beloved moto jacket so i was on the hunt for a new timeless classic with a rich history. the search was over when i found this beauty from Vince Camuto.
March
pink and green are one of my favorite color combo’s that’s perfect for spring weather. Boden never disappoints with their vibrant color schemes. these green pants are no exception.
a spring sweater is a must-have for those fickle spring temps. who could resist this oldie but goodie rolled neck sweater available in three colors?
Boden strikes again with this adorable print skirt. when an outfit is this cute it’s time to spring forward.
April
when talbots friends and family sailed into town i shared a few photos and thoughts about this classic brand that’s been one of my favorites since i was in my twenties.
when the going gets tough the touch shift into neutral with a unique color palette and a pop of orange.
what would spring be without chinos, stripes, and tees? let’s not forget a pair of white sneakers.
May
in may mr. style and i packed our bags and toured paris in black and white.
guess who decided to come along to europe? stripes are a good idea even in paris.
guess who boarded the trend train with a pair of comfy high-waisted jeans from Madewell? read the full post garanimal where i share my thoughts on these fantabulous blue jeans.
June
it’s all about summer style at the beach and a Q&A with my dear friend Erin.
it seems y’all love a weekend getaway as much as mr. style and i. who would like to see more travel posts?
this paper bag skirt is one of the all-time best sellers on the blog. can’t say that i disagree as this skirt is absolutely darling. p.s. i think it’s on sale.
that’s it for today. hopefully, you found some outfit inspiration and fresh ideas. thanks so much for stopping by! your love and support mean the world to me. if by chance you are new to Style at a Certain Age take a peek at these blog posts to get you started.
