anyone else short on time these days? come december it’s easy to get behind on our to-do list. what with menu’s to plan, airport runs, and trips to the grocery store. anyone else forget the eggnog? or maybe it was cinnamon sticks to add to the latest batch of wassail. and we haven’t even factored in holiday parties where we’re supposed to sparkle and shine. this time of year, it’s all too easy to get frazzled. isn’t it?
but let’s not forget the reason for the season. so today, i’m challenging you to step back, take a deep breath, and remember it’s time to make memories. if we want great memories we have to make them. right? please don’t tell me we’re too old to celebrate special moments. just what does ‘old’ look like anyway? sure our inner clock is ticking but it’s been doing that since day one.after all, we don’t want days and months (even years) to blur together. because each minute is worth celebrating. don’t you think? running a marathon in 2018? how about a family reunion? are you taking the leap and downsizing? yup, those are all memories worth celebrating. so is something as simple as wrapping gifts. especially if you have a helping hand.
so what better way to track time than with macy’s and citizens watches? did you know that citizen watches are powered by eco-drive technology? “what, exactly, is eco-drive technology?” you ask. to put it simply citizen’s eco-drive watches are unlike other watches as they never need to be wound. i guess you’d say they’re eco-friendly as it uses a renewable resource – light to keep it running. which means i’ll never have to worry about replacing that dead watch battery or add another battery to landfills.
mr. style chose the eco-drive brown leather strap with rose gold. there are three hands and three subdials for the day, date, and 24 hour time. and my pick? i went with a white silicone strap watch that looks gorgeous this time of year paired with red. ’tis the season.
so what are you waiting for? it’s time to create happy memories that will last a lifetime.
a big thank you to macy’s, citizen’s watches, and shopstyle for this sponsored post. and thank you lovely readers for supporting the brands that allow me to bring fresh ideas.

I love those Citizen watches. After years of replacing my inexpensive watch at least annually, I purchased a Citizen watch from Macy’s and three years later it looks as good and keeps time as well as it did when brand new. I am a big fan of Macy’s and of these watches.
then you know firsthand how fabulous these watches are. i have to say i’m impressed by their eco-technology. no more batteries! that’s a win for me and the environment.

I know this post is about the watches but I couldn’t help but notice those patched jeans, I love them!

They both look like great watches! They are great–I love that you don’t have to worry about the batteries dying on them.
I also wrapped presents in kraft paper this year, and used bold black and white striped bows and big plaid bows–with sprigs of greens and red berries tucked in. Makes me think I might do this every year–they look great! Enjoy each moment.
you’re presents sound merry and bright. maybe they’re too pretty to open… but why not wrap them up this way every year? sounds like a plan to me.
