everyone is on the mend at our house. praise the lord! guess it’s time for sparkly earrings, a clutch, and a pair of heels. mr. style and i are headed out on the town. yes, it’s date night which always gives me an excuse to elevate my ootd. or is that ootn? last week, i shared my style uniform – blazer, dark rinse denim, silk blouse, shoes in a neutral color are all on the list. it appears that’s exactly what i reached for to pull this outfit together.

the wind picked up tremendously on our photo shoot making it difficult to keep the bow in place with my favorite pussy bow blouse by ralph lauren. sometimes, you just have to let mother nature take its course and go with the flow. when it comes to bow blouses we might think they are on-trend or off-trend. for whatever reason, i’ve had one hanging in my closet thirty years ago, twenty, ten, even five. which makes me think it’s a classic style instead of a trend.

it seems as if everyone’s been sick this year. hopefully, the worst is behind us. when mr. style went to the dr. all the nurses and staff were sick. it was one happy coughfest!

I went to ann taylor today and bought those same jeans!! The fit is awesome. Also got the gray and black joggers with the gray sweatshirt w/the black tie sleeve. I need to stay out of that store!!!!

I just got this jacket in the mail. No lie, I debated whether to keep it or not because I no longer work full time and am trying to keep my purchases casual. Anyway, I decided it was too cute not to keep!! I will style it with jeans as well. Love your look!
